Fort Boykin Beach was the perfect backdrop for this sibling session. Their mom, Terrah, reached out to me because she began homeschooling the oldest two children and wanted to capture school portraits. She and her husband also recently had a baby so new photos were in order! Late last year, they moved from California to Virginia. Keep in mind their travels were done with three kids… during the pandemic… where interstate public restrooms are CLOSED!! That’s intense!
Despite the roller coaster forecast the entire week leading up to our session, the evening turned out to be absolutely beautiful. The only hiccup was at the beach… the GNATS which were of epic biblical proportions!!! I don’t know if the storms brought those little buggers in or what, but it was NOT NORMAL. Going forward, I will encourage my clients to bring bug spray this time of year!!
My little clients were awesome and took direction so well! Meet Camilla, Caleb, and Connor!
Gotta do the silly faces!!
I started photoshopping the gnats out in these photos. This gorgeous location was worth it though!
Keepin’ it real here. The gnats don’t understand personal space. 1000% recommend bringing bug spray here!! But tell me Connor isn’t adorable in that sweet outfit and suspenders?!?!
Love this pic in black and white!
