Remember the covid-19 pandemic front porch sessions? In less than one month, we’ll have reached the one year ‘anniversary’ of the start of the covid-19 pandemic. In the beginning, just about everyone’s lives were upended in one way or another. To bring some light and joy in an otherwise uncharted and unnerving situation, people wanted to showcase what the pandemic looked like for their family. I’m almost positive most of you saw the front porch sessions gaining popularity across the country. Several neighbors politely nudged me in the direction to shoot these and I obliged. I can’t believe I haven’t posted these on the blog until now. Photographing something this historical means it needs to be documented!!
I loved that in exchange, the families collectively donated $1,035 to their chosen charities! That’s incredible!! I shared the links of all the charities at the end of the post.

Kristina’s husband was on deployment, so she used his photo to make sure he was included in the photo.
